Why we started jesdideal
Eat out with a discount, without the restaurant paying for it.
We run a restaurant ourselves. And we saw how deal platforms usually work: the restaurant gives a discount and, on top of that, pays the platform a large share of the revenue or a fee per guest. Margins in hospitality are already small. Then there is little left, and in the end someone pays the bill: the restaurant, the staff or the guest.
That is why we built jesdideal: a deal site without commission. The restaurant pays nothing per voucher or per guest, and you pay no service charge. Every cent of discount goes to the guest.
How it works
- At least 25% off a dish or menu from the regular menu, no separate deal menu.
- You request a free voucher, book a table and simply pay at the restaurant.
- Your booking goes straight to the restaurant, with no middleman.
How can this be free?
jesdideal is part of Jesdi, the booking and POS system we build for restaurants. Restaurants that use Jesdi pay a subscription for it; jesdideal is included for free. Restaurants without Jesdi can create a free deal account.
